Duane Randleman, M.D.
Dr. C. Duane Randleman, Jr. is the Medical Director and Co-Founder of Varicosity Vein Center. Born in Atlanta and raised in Birmingham, Dr. Randleman’s interest in medicine was easily influenced by two strong medical communities. Upon receiving his Bachelors of Science with Honors, Cum Laude from Samford University, he remained in Birmingham to earn his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. After deciding to pursue his post-graduate training in surgery, Dr. Randleman completed his General Surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota followed by a fellowship in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He moved back to Birmingham and in 1991 and joined Cardio-Thoracic Surgeons, P.C. in the practice of vascular, cardiac, and thoracic surgery. In 2003, he established Varicosity Vein Center dedicated to the treatment of varicose and spider veins. Since that time the increasing patient demand for Varicosity’s exceptional services paved the way for three vein center locations.
In Dr. Randleman’s spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children and participating in the many extra-curricular activities the children are involved in.
